Soot and Smoke Damage in Kitchen

This family’s beautiful log home located just outside of Washington County experienced a fire in their kitchen. The ceiling and the walls suffered from soot damage from the smoke build up in the kitchen. Our trained fire clean up team at SERVPRO of North Rensselaer/South Washington Counties was able to remove the smoke smell by removing the affected insulation in the attic above the fire and thoroughly cleaning the affected walls and ceiling.
